btc worries of the momentWith the current SPY setup, there are obvious concerns/doubts about how BTC will do over the next Month or 2 as the SPY does whatever type of correction this market will allow. Basically, is BTC going to tank as the stock market works out the potential for a fed mistake vs. the hardened rails passive investing has put on the trajectory of the market? This should help... BTC/SPY compared to BTC for reference... I guess it's true. When you divide by a constant you get a constant. The …

Longevity research and David SinclairI wanted to post this on the last Insider Talks comment section, but it is still closed for comments so I decided to spill it here I hope @Raoul Pal reads it. I see how the idea about "aging is a disease" is appealing to people. I listened to David Sinclair views during two interviews and I am highly convinced That his main goal is just to sell aging tests, books and whatever else he has to sell. If you have never studied aging, his story sound solid and fascinating. The truth is, …

Cathie Wood RV Series Discussion: TSLA & ChinaReally been enjoying this Cathie Wood series so far, but also extremely well timed and highly relevant market in real time (I’ve said in many occasions that the RV team who books / sets the programming schedule are like the best market timing “predictors” of all time lol - and it’s very true). Market Developments in the last 24-48 hours (as Cathie Wood series started): •TSLA Q2 Earnings beat: EPS $1.45 vs $0.96 est. OP $1.3bn (3x YoY), overcoming the fundamental bear case hurdles. Three Cheers for Ed Harrison, and the Fed’s StatementsI had some thoughts on the Fed’s actions today (below), but want to say a word first about Ed Harrison’s departure. I have a mixed reaction to Ed Harrison’s plan to move on from RealVision. I first encountered Ed in the very early days of Zero Hedge in 2008 and then watched his show Boom Bust on RT. I read his articles when I found them post-GFC, but got a whole new view during the dark days last March when the world was ending and I discovered RV (via an RV interview of Dan Zwirn posted on…

Raoul's movesI found out a few days ago when browsing tweeter that Raoul has recently changed his cryto allocation. He no longer holds 75% BTC / 25% ETH like he mentionned last year but 25% BTC, 55% ETH, 20% other crypto. That's a huge shift and I wish we would be made aware of it. I understand RV is not giving financial advice per say but Raoul's change of frame of mind could benefit especially lower experienced Essential members, the individual who's trying to navigate these difficult waters. If you read …

Goodreads on RV: Session 3 - Brent JohnsonHi everyone, With year end holidays coming for many of us, this could be a great opportunity to let go of the daily price movements and pick up a great book. Continuing with the book recommendations from some of the best contributors on Real Vision, today our guest is Mr. Brent Johnson aka Santiago Capital on Twitter. As always, this is by no means an exhaustive list. It has been compiled based on direct input from Brent and some of his public appearances. Without further ado and in no particu…
