TDAmeritrade does not allow trading of /GE futures options . This is the response I got from them " It's a business decision by the firm to not offer trading in options in /GE. This is due to a combination of volume, liquidity, and client demand for the product. I'm sorry about that." I am looking for a feed back and some ideas on instruments I can use instead. @RaoulPal, Any ideas?

Where am I?

The only US based online brokers that allow for trading options on GE (Eurodollar) futures is Interactive Brokers (min $2k or $3k i think) and tastyworks. Nobody else does options on ED, just futures. And there’s plenty of demand and liquidity- the underlying is one of (if not THR MOST) liquid actively traded futures contracts in the world.

I have TD too, I used options on SHY (1-3 year UST ETD) to express the Euro$ trade back in Jan 2020 - it's not perfect, but it did the trick then.

He mentioned Interactive Brokers for /ge options in the RV pro comment if I remember correctly.
